Looking good!

This job is kind of on the neutral level as for now, because there is nothing else I can do at this point. I asked my dad how long I would have to go to respiratory school though, he told me it may vary between 18 months-2years, which isn't bad at all. I know every penny would have to be earned though. My dad started off only making $10.00 an hour, now faithfully working 15 years he's just about tripled that! Just a little inspiration for me!!

There are more requirements, like clinical training at various hospitals, working with actual patients. Once the training is through, I would have to go take certain test in order to even get my license. So basically, I've realized that this isn't exactly going to be a walk in the park. I have it set in my mind, that its what i want to do for a career, simply because the school isn't to tough, then the money is worth it, since I'm not a big spender. Well, that for reading my third blog!!! Please stay tuned...C. EMERY.

I really like this!!

Wow! Okay, I'm actually starting to think that this is the job for me. I felt that it would be good for me to at least know the history of something that I would love to be one day. Respiratory Therapy was at first referred to as inhalation therapy, people that were practicing this position are very little. They were trained by the nurses, you could say that they were the nurse's asst.
Theses chores were technical, but easy at the same time, things like setting up oxygen tanks, plugging the patients in to their breathing machines etc. So yeah! This hasn't always been a real job. Now, back to why I'm starting to like this job. I actually got the chance to go to my dad's job and see him in action. It's not a very easy task, but wow! How great is it that, to see someone I personally know, do something that I would love to do in my future. My dad is head supervisor at EKL, as for the respiratory department, man would I love to be in shoes!
Well, until next time. Thanks for reading my 2nd blog! C.EMERY!
